Over the years, I object strongly to defective, unsafe and dangerous types of communications, such as:
- telephone number (only) given for making reports, etc.
- being asked to give detailed information and not knowing who you are talking to;
- notice board back in Moscow: graduates to phone let's say Ivan Petrovich (no surname) for job opportunities;
- first names and fake names given by UK gov. workers;
- aggressive/criminal behaviour in the case of Norma (?) of Gosport Library, when I asked for her name;
- etc. etc.
By the way, back in 1992(?) a telephone number was published in one Moscow newspaper for making anonymous reports about crime. Later the paper reported a mistake in that number. Numbers of callers were displayed on standard phones already. Diversion of calls, etc.
