When I walked past Yellow Edge Gallery in Stokes Road the day it opened, I immediately saw a large abstract painting (in beige colours) very much like paintings by a Russian artist Svetlana Kalistratova. That is how I became curious and entered the Gallery. On Svetlana Kalistratova's website those are her "early style" paintings. I told him about similarity.
She is a physicist (MIFI or MFTI in Moscow) who went into abstract arts.
I also told Steve Buggle that looks a lit bit Russian, may be like a Russian man I met somewhere.
He gave me his card, so I saw he was not Russian.
